Yesterday, I led my very first Cartas de Poder Lotería collage workshop at LatinaFest and it was everything. As a graphic designer and illustrator, I’ve always expressed myself through visual storytelling, but collage has been my personal refuge. A space I turn to when I’m feeling anxious, disconnected, or overwhelmed. It’s been my form of quiet art therapy.

And this weekend, I finally shared that sacred space with my community.
We created vision boards inspired by my Lotería collection, journaled, and reflected on what healing means to us. The word that came up most? Peace.
And I left feeling exactly that.

✨ Peaceful. Grounded. Grateful. ✨

This workshop started as an idea and is now a growing offering I can’t wait to bring to more places.
