I'm a Latina educator... and I never saw that coming

Teaching outside the box, and creating space for others to do the same

Hey chingona,

It hit me this week.
I’m a Latina educator.

Not in the traditional sense.
I didn’t get a degree in education. I don’t have a school badge or a classroom filled with desks.
But I am teaching.

Every time I lead a Canva or Illustrator class…
Every time I mentor a fellow entrepreneur or guide someone through a branding breakthrough…
I’m sharing knowledge. I’m building comunidad.

And here’s what’s even more beautiful, every single week I’ve had a different takeaway from these classes.
But this week?
It was all about Latina educators.

In this latest session, it was another Latina educator who showed up.
It’s been a pattern, Latinas in education keep showing up for me, investing in themselves, supporting each other.
And I realized something powerful:
We need more of this.
More Latina educators.
More of us redefining what teaching looks like.
More of us creating classrooms on our own terms.

So if no one’s told you lately:
If you’ve ever shared your story, your tools, or your truth, you’re an educator too.
You don’t need a certificate to make an impact.
Your experience is valid. Your knowledge is needed.
Keep teaching, your way.

And if you're ready to join us, whether you’re a creative, educator, or just curious. Come take a class. 💻✏️
