Hola Chingona,

I’m going to be real with you… this is a bit vulnerable for me to share. For a long time, I struggled with feeling like I didn’t belong in certain spaces. Imposter syndrome would creep in, and I would tell myself that maybe I wasn’t ready, maybe I wasn’t good enough, maybe I didn’t deserve to be seen.

Honestly, it felt easier to hide and to avoid the pressure of showing up as my authentic self. But this year, I’m done hiding. I’m stepping into rooms I used to be scared of. I’m claiming my space, and guess what? I’m excited to tell you that I’ll be at LatinaFest 2025, hosting my very first workshop!

Cartas de Poder: Create Your Own Lotería Card

Tap into your inner power and create your Carta de Poder Lotería Card a custom lotería card designed through intentional collage, cultural nostalgia, and creative manifestation.

This 50-minute workshop begins with a short somatic dance to ground your energy and awaken your intuition, followed by a journaling prompt to help you name your power. Then, you’ll bring your vision to life using a mix of pre-cut illustrations (including Chingona Inc.’s iconic lotería card character girl) and guided collage.

Your final card will serve as a symbolic reminder of who you are becoming, inspired by la cultura and your chingona power. Think of a vision board but make it Spanglish, spiritual, and in the style of a traditional Mexican lotería card.
