I never imagined starting a book club, and yet, this past Sunday, I hosted the very first Chingona Book Collective session. I won’t lie, it was a small group, much smaller than I thought, and I was nervous. I thought I had to know everything about the book, front to back, to be the “perfect host.”

But that’s not the type of community I want to create.

I want to build a space for the Latina who never thought she was smart enough to join a book club that is me, who maybe didn’t grow up with shelves full of books, or who sometimes feels like she has to know everything before stepping into the room.

This space is for you to come as you are.
You don’t have to finish the book.
You don’t have to have all the answers.

We’re here to learn, heal, and grow together, to talk about money, mindset, self-love, and the things we weren’t always taught. This is more than just reading; it’s healing our finances, healing ourselves, and creating a safe community.
